Just noticed RED light on FLOW of Intellichlor SWG. I have never cleaned the SWG before. Should I do that first to troubleshoot?
Is it something that needs immediate attention or can I do this tomorrow?
Thanks

It won’t generate chlorine if the flow is red / use liquid chlorine in the meantime.

Have you tried raising your pump speed? Sometimes when filters get dirty the flow drops and if you are right at the edge it will trigger a flow switch. Otherwise there are more technical issues possible with a flow switch and pentair the experts here will do better explaining than me!

C,

Either you have good flow or you don't...

If you put your hand in front of a pool return, do you feel a good flow or a very weak flow???

Is your spa spillover working like normal?

If you feel a good flow and your spa spillover is work normally, then most likely you have an issue with your cell's flow switch.

If you have weak flow, and your spa is not spillover over as it normally does, then most likely your filter is dirty.

Thanks,

Jim R.

My best guess is the SWG was added later and due to pipe length and locations they needed more room to insert the SWG than existed hence the creative plumbing?

I am still fairly new to this, but it looks to me like the 3 way valve with the arrow is set to flow in the direction of your SWG which would take it around the long side of your odd loop (and closing flow to the short side) There is what looks like another 3 way valve (with no handle) just before the pool and spa return lines? Without the handle on it we can't tell what position that valve is in. Assuming it is open and the handle was removed so no one ever changes it your water should be flowing through the SWG and on to the returns.
