@cowboycase Thank you for explaining! Great point that it will be covered by water. I just lowered the hose too so to avoid streaks like you mentioned.
Florida woman finally building a pool!

Hi All! So here are some pictures. It is exciting to finally have water, very hard to wait 7 days to get in it!
I guess I was lucky to have someone that was working on fixing something in my screen room that happened to work for my builder for many years. He pointed out they did a terrible acid wash and it will need to be redone. I didn't really notice it initially but I am sure I would have as you can clearly see two different colors. Water is very expensive where I live and I am expecting a 600 water bill so it will be interesting to argue with them to cover my water bill too if I have to drain and fill again. They did fill the pool with acid once full so maybe that is supposed to help, but not sure. I think that is their standard practice. What do you all think? You have to zoom in to see it but it looks like they did not acid wash the floors or maybe the walls, one is darker than the other.
I have also learned that brushing is no fun! I ordered the whale brush head but I guess my muscles are not as strong. I did it this morning before work and it was a lot less hot at 8am verses 1pm!

Mine had splotches too. They bug me but we live with them. But overall it looks great! Glad you finally have a pool
