Flocculant usage in pool

Hello everyone,

If you have seen me around, I am the one who can not get a hold of any advanced kits, reason being .. my country.
I have managed to get everything at least correct, with the kits I have.
Tomorrow we will be vacumming the pool, and I have a bottle of Flocculant. That is, if i am not mistaken, to get everything down to the bottom of the pool, so i can have it completely cleaned.

Do you guys suggest using the Flocculant ? If not, why ?

Flocculant is not recommended.

To use it, you must be able to vac to waste. It must NOT get in your filter. Even sand should be replaced after adding floc to a pool.

I am able to vac to waste, it shouldnt be a problem, if that is the main reason not to use it. Not a huge pool, so vaccuming to waste wont be a problem for a 20 minute cleaning.

Yes. But after considering what mknauss said, I wont be using it . We have clear water, almost drinkable from perforation (Inground drilling that gives us water ). Only thing, it was high pH.

I used floc one time and vowed to never use it again. It did what it said it would do but when I read the label, I decided never again. I don’t want that stuff in my pool.
