Hi all,
I have a crack in my auto fill inlet port where the float valve screws in. How? I'm my first year as a pool owner, I put in a plug without Teflon tape and when I tried to remove it, it was stuck and too much pressure cracked it. Nevertheless, the plug is removed and I can screw in a float valve. Of course, it leaks through that crack. I was thinking to screw in a brass plug and use plast-aid to seal the crack. Then remove the plug and put in the float valve. It's this a good, bad, or "maybe" plan?
