I have a Circupool CORE55 that I hard-wired into my pool pump timer. I have a couple of quick questions about winterization:
  1. I assume I will need to take off the salt cell and bring that inside for winter. That's not really a question, except that the control unit's connection hardware is then exposed to the elements, even if I use the rubber plug.
  2. Should I plan to take the entire control unit off the plumbing and disconnect it from the pool pump timer? A bit of a hassle, but not difficult. I wired it myself, no problem. I'd prefer to not HAVE to do that if I don't need to.
  3. What precautions should I take if I DON'T pull the control unit in for winter?
  4. What should I do if I DO take the control unit in for winter? Specifically, what do I do with the two PVC openings on either side of the SWG? Plug them? Any special guidance?
Thanks so much!

No reason to bring the SWG cell or control box in for the winter. Once water is blown out of the cell they can take the cold.
