I bought a house with an inground vinyl liner pool in the Raleigh area of NC in May 2024 and have been a lurking on this website ever since.
It's been an awesome resource! I'm a complete pool newbie but with the help of this site, PoolMath app, and my Taylor test kit, I have been able to manage my 1st pool completely by myself.
I test chems at least every 1-2 days, and feel like I have a great handle on the water chemistry. I have a chlorine pool and use only LC. I had a number of challenging issues in my first summer including the liner floating and mustard algae, so it's been stressful, but I've learned a lot.
