Looking for some advice and suggestions.

Brand new plaster pool filled with water during Memorial Day weekend 2022. I’ve spent all season testing the water with my Taylor Test kit and maintaining the water chemistry myself.

I am wondering if I should “aim” for certain FC , TA and CH numbers before my pool company comes to close the pool for the winter. The pool cover should be arriving within the next week or so then they will come out to close it. They have the closing chemicals that they apply right before closing the pool.

As of tonight my test results are the following.

Temperature- 57 Degrees
FC-4
CC- 0
PH- 7.6
TA- 70
CH- 320
CYA- 50

Water Balance Calculator = -0.1

Thanks in advance !

Your TA and CH is fine for closing,

Not knowing what chemicals your company is adding at closing I would just raise your FC around 10.
