My problem was after treating the water with chemicals (bleach). It was perfectly blue until I added bleach and then it was coffee brown. I added my thread which shows what we tried and what worked or didn’t work. The polyfill may work for iron you see out of the well, (it did nothing for me) but what helped us was the diesel filter bags and the micron hose water filter (still use these for refills/top offs) a flocculant and vacuum, DE and iron myte.
