This is my first year with the pool and the pool company that installed it is closing it. They are suggesting to me that I clean my filters with DuraChlor Filter Cleaner before storing them for the winter. Is this necessary or just another way for them to make money? My filters are already very clean so I wasn't sure if this does more than the routine water blasting from the hose.

DuraChlor Filter Cleaner is just an acid bath for the cartridge.
