First test this year

First test, 4 gallons of chlorine were added, and 8 bags of salt. water is clear and beautiful.

FC 12.5
CC .5
pH 7.8
Calcium 300
TA 100
CYA - it's cloudy but guessing around 40-50
Salt 2800 (8 bags were already added)

I suppose I just need salt and CYA, I think my pH isn't accurate at 13 TC?

I wouldn't worry. When the red dye reacts with high chlorine, you get bright magenta color like 8.2 or above. You don't if you got 7.8. If you let the tester sit a while it will probably go to the magenta color.

yeah I have usually seen bright pink when the chlorine is high so you think 7.8 is accurate?

Probably. And if not, it's close enough that I wouldn't worry.
