Try doing the test with 4 drops instead of 5. It is the HUE, not the INTESITY.

Even the first image still looks to be in the 7s? It looks pretty hot pink which I thought was 8.2

See ??? Hot *pink*. And i agree it is. Which isnt purple. Peach and pink are in range and youre really just looking for orange (low) or purple (high). Once you've gone that far you might as well decipher it to be 7.6 or whatevs.
