I just received my TF-100 kit
I just purchased this home with the existing pool, maintained by a pool company. There were trichlor tablets floating around the pool in a dispenser.

Post a full set of results.

You can/should lower your pH. Use muriatic acid. Use pool math to help you determine how much. Link-->PoolMath

You have very high CYA because of the puck use.

Redo the CYA test, start at #8 in this article.

You have a choice, IF your CYA is 100 (I suspect it is higher), replace 40% of your water to reduce CYA to 60 and switch to liquid chlorine.
Leave it at 100, but you need to maintain FC at 11-13 to sanitize the pool. Always follow this-->FC/CYA Levels
Convert to a salt water chlorine generator for chlorination.

Do the CYA test I linked, then post a full set of results.

Then the question is quality of the well water and metals content (iron, copper). Have you used this water in the past? Any metals issues?

Don’t usually recommend pool store testing. But for iron and copper, best you can get. Test with your kit and go to pool store for metals test and report back….

I have the capability to pump out using my VSP and make up fresh water (well water) automatically (float valve). Is this a terrible idea?
We don't recommend using the pool pump. To many times, people walk away for a period of time and the pump runs dry.

We recommend using a sump.

I have decided to wait until the summer is over. I am adding muratic acid right now. Here are the pool test results from Leslie’s. image.jpg
