Hello All,
Just had a quick question. You guys helped me learn so much about my new pool in August, however, I am on the East Coast, and we just had our first larger snowstorm.
I didn't even consider what I should be doing during snowstorms. We have a mesh cover. I noticed today that the snow has the mesh cover sinking in a bit around the pool. The snow has hardened so I a broom doesn't do much. I'd say we got about 8 inches of snow, the middle of it has melted, but there exists about 8 inches of snow around the outside of the pool, towards the ledge and maybe about a foot in all around, causing the mesh to sink a bit.
Should I be worried? I can try and take a picture if needed when I get home.
I assumed I guess that the cover would protect the pool for snow, or that the snow would melt faster, or I don't know what I expected. But the place that closed my pool didn't really prepare me with anything to do other than to make sure the pump inside the pool is always plugged in to keep the water level low.
Thanks!
