First Equipment Cleaning help

Time to clean the equipment, first time. Pentair IC40, Intelliflo VSF, Clean and Clear Plus Cartridge filter. Any tricks, hints, techniques would be most appreciated. Thanks

Your VSP won't need any work, but being in the Vegas Valley area hard water may require you to clean your cell. Take a look for any scale deposits on the cell plates. Check your owners manual, but cells are commonly cleaned with a 4-1 ration of water-to muriatic acid soaked for about 10-15 minutes or when the fizzling stops. Cart filters just need a thorough rinsing. Should not need a detergent soaking unless your swimmers have tons of oils or you added some pool store gunk to the water.
