Pool was plastered yesterday and PB came out today to turn pumps on for first time. We need to keep them running the next 2 weeks. This evening we noticed a growing water line around the landscaping pavers. Could this be a sign of a leaking pipe??! Very concerned. Sent pic to Pb and landscaper as well.

Is the water level in the pool droping?

Do you have a water autofill system in the pool?

Put a piece of tape along the water line so you can track the water level.

Put a piece of tape along the water line so you can track the water level.

That will not necessarily indicate a leak. You will lose water to evaporation that will drop the water level in the pool.
You need to use the bucket test:
Fill a bucket of water with pool water and put in on the pool step so it is sitting above the surface of the water
Mark the top level of the water in the bucket
Mark the top level of the water in the pool
Now you can compare the loss of water in the pool to the loss of water in the bucket
If the pool is dropping faster than the bucket it indicates water loss from the pool is due to something in addition to evaporation (leak, splashout, etc.).
