So I had a moderately large leak that made it impossible to keep the salt level stable enough to keep my SWG running, so I used bleach until it was repaired. 3 vinyl patches later and we are all set.
So I added salt, got it up to 3500ppm, now working to get everything else right.
So it's a vinyl lined in-ground 34x16 with a 10ft deep end. Here's what my Taylor k-2006 tells me:
FC: 4.5
CC: 0.5
CYA: 35ish
PH: 7.6
ALK: 110
CH: 150
SALINITY: 3500
Now I know I need to boost my CYA numbers, but from what I understand my alkalinity is too high for an SWG. This is my first year with this pool and with using a salt system so any advice at all is appreciated.
