Finally got my test kit T100!!!!!!

I don t know if my signature is automatic so
24x12x52” heated vinyl above ground pool
Partially shaded
1HP Hayward sand filter / Hayward heater
FC 7
PH 8.2
TA 120
CYA 85-90
Water is crystal clear
There is a hint of green dust on bottom step
I have someone who will add liquid chlorine today and tomorrow and either Saturday or Sunday - but at least one day I have no one to cover
We have been adding liquid chlorine all week without -apparently-an accurate stabilizer level-
Questions
Do I attempt to lower ph ? Before I add the recommended 2 gallons of liquid chlorine ?
Do I attempt to lower CYA by /removing - adding water ?
As minimal as this algae is I don t want it to bloom into a huge problem
I won t be back in the state for another week so I m managing this long distance ??
Any advice greatly appreciated

It would be best to do a 50% water replacement to get your CYA down to 50 ppm or so.
Then follow the SLAM Process.

It would take hours to do that and I do not have anyone who is willing or able to spend that kind of time -
So aside from the fact that it will take double the liquid chlorine is there anything to keep me from continuing to SLam with cya at 85/90?

SLAM level FC is 35 ppm.

Lower pH to 7.2 first.
