Any idea what this stain is and is it problematic to keep using this filter?

That filter looks like it's on its last leg. But I have a couple questions before we try to advise you:
1 - Are those your test results from a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C, or form somewhere else?
2 - Are you on a well out there in Canton?
3 - You have an SWG, is that the only way you chlorinate? Have you added anything else to the water?
4 - How does the rest of the pool/water look? Any staining, green, or cloudiness?

SWG only, but I did shock two days ago

Clear now, but was having cloudy problems. Filter had been cleaned several times recently, but with still high pressure; next step is to TSP them unless they’re done as you suggest

Thank you

Okay. Given the additional info provided, I'm inclined to think the filter is covered with staining from organics - algae. Your CYA is very low for a salt pool and normally should be at least 70. But I wouldn't try to raise it now. I suspect with recent cloudiness and that very low CYA, algae began to form but was never completely killed/removed. The high filter pressure is also indicative of organics being captured consistently, overwhelming the filter. I would recommend a SLAM Process.

Lower the pH to 7.2 and increase the CYA to "30". Then increase the FC to "12" and maintain that SLAM/shock value of 12 until you pass all 3 SLAM Process criteria. The cartridge, while worn and stained, might even clean-up a bit during the SLAM. If not, you can always replace it afterwards. But I would do the SLAM now and see how things go. But make sure to refer to that SLAM Process page daily so you don't miss anything.
