Next time you have the filter apart for cleaning, consider giving it a light sanding then hit it with a nice coat of spray paint. Any of those Krylon, Rustoleum, brands you see at Walmart. They have plenty of colors that are close. I re-painted my entire filter assembly last year for that very reason.

Also consider some kind of shelter for extending the life of your equipment if it’s always exposed to the hot Florida sun. There a few great threads floating around with good ideas.
