Hi all,

My sand filter normally stays at 10 PSI when clean. Right now it is hovering around 18 and I’ve backwashed thoroughly and rinsed a couple time. The gauge is only a few months old as well.
We just installed a new heater last week, would this cause the base pressure to go up? Any thoughts?

If this happened right after the heater install then that would be where you look. Has a valve not been opened enough after the install? Let us have some equipment pad pictures from different angles so possibly we can pick up on something not right or questionable.

Pardon my dust, we just moved in less than a year ago and I’m currently removing the rotten sheet rock and insulation from this pump room. Let me know if I need to grab different angles!
