Filter pressure

Hello, I'm trying to understand what this filter pressure should be reading. Wasn't quite sure what to search for (was searching "low pressure").

TLDR: is my pressure reading ok (image attached)?

It is a Pentair clean and clear cartridge filter.

If I run max (3450) the highest pressure reading is 28 psi I guess. Running 2550 is about 15 psi. The gauge has "start" and "clean filter" 30ish and 40ish respectively. I just swapped my about 9 month old filter just incase that was an issue.

It varies based on your pump RPM and dirtiness of your filters.

The gauge has "start" and "clean filter" 30ish and 40ish respectively.

Ignore that (it's a rotating bezel). Clean your filter when the pressure increases ~20% above clean cartridge pressure.

The rotating bezel, it's designed as follows:

1) clean filter
2) run pump max speed
3) set rotating bezel "start" to clean filter high pressure
4) in the future when running on high, if needle reaches "clean", then you clean.

I have an older pump, so some water may be getting past the impeller, but I get hardly and flow when the pressure gets up to 30 PSI (normal pressure is ~14psi).
