Filter Pressure with Variable Speed

Can someone tell me when I should see significant pressure on my Filter pressure when starting my pump. The pump primes at 3400 but not seeing filter pressure increase in first 10 seconds or so.

My equipment was routed to detect a leak.

Jo,

If you had the pump lid off or the filter has drained back into the pool, it will take 30 seconds or so for the water to fill the filter... During this type of start up, you should have the air release valve on the top of the filter open and of course be standing there to either close it or get wet..

What is yours doing??

Its wasn't moving too much air from water low. Its good, was scared a second. I had to redo a bunch of things thought I messed something up. Thanks Jo!
