My brother in law has this old hayward sandfilter that he needs to get parts for. When it is running he has water coming out of the waste port. He said that he had new sand put in his filter and after they started it up, the pool guy turned the handle from filter to backwash while it was running. He then told him that he needed a new sandfilter. I think he needs a new spider gasket or whatever its called. Any help is appreciated.
