Filter leaking

I have a Hayward CX12002 filter on my system. Several weeks ago I noticed that it was leaking between the top part and the bottom part. I opened the unit up and the o-ring gasket was in very bad shape. The unit is about 12 years old. I purchased a new o-ring and some gasket lube. That seemed to fix the leak. Yesterday I noticed that it has started leaking again, not much just some moisture on the side of the filter. Any ideas other than replacing the whole filter?

Not really. I mean if the new gasket was not defective, filter mating surfaces were cleaned well with zero noted imperfections, and you used pool silicone lube, it should be drip-free. If it's just a minor amount (small drip now & then) you can probably just live with it unless it's making a really big mess and driving you nuts.
