filter housing leaking from top

+1. It looks like it unscrews. Apply some pressure to it and see if it budges, but not too much because plastic. (Pump off and pressure released of course).

Mine was doing the same thing so I ordered a new one that was $17. When i went to install it I found the old one clogged with pool brush bristles. I installed the new one anyway and kept the old one as a backup. It could be something similar like pine needles. Or the little rubber stopper gasket inside has deteriorated. If it comes off and it’s not clogged, it should be cheap to replace it.

Oddly, it leaked for a few hours before I sent the post above. I tried twisting the whole part on top of the filter case (the black part) and the drip stopped and hasn't leaked again. But if it begins leaking again I will go back to your replies and take it apart! Right now it's too cold and wet outside to disassemble it if I don't have to.
