I am wondering if anyone can tell me how accurate a hayward cartridge filter gauge is.
I ran my pump all winter for about 5 hours a day. The last time I cleaned the filter was in October and I reset the clean gauge mark to 11. The gauge was now reading 12 but after all the pollen we had this year I figured it was a good time to clean it. After I cleaned it the gauge is still 12.
Is it normal for the gauge to not drop any after cleaning? Could the gauge be bad? The gauge does go to zero when pump is off and varies when the pump is turn down.
