Cold Water Operation.

The display will show the LO code. LO indicates the temperature of Pool is < 54ºF (12.2°C). Chlorine production is stopped.

From Page 39 of the Installation Manual:

Chlorine production is not permitted below 51°F (11°C); operating the chlorinator in cold water might result in over-chlorinated pool water.

If more chlorine is needed, activating the “Boost” mode will override this cold water feature allowing chlorine production for 24 hours of operation.

This applies to the Jandy AquaPure and the Nature2 FusionSoft as they are sister products.

An optional "Spool" Piece (sold separately) used to be available to replace the cell during winterizing or cell maintenance.

This piece has been discontinued and is no longer available.

In addition, the AquaPure threads are proprietary, and Jandy does not offer replacement proprietary unions (the "male" piece).

If removing the cell is desired so that water may circulate without the cell, specialized plumbing would need to be added during installation of the cell.

One method is an additional PVC union after each end of the cell.

This method would require the purchase of 4 unions.

2 for when the cell is installed and 1/2 of the other 2 unions (the "male" 1/2) for the creation of the bypass pipe.

When a FREEZE CONTROLLER is used on pump equipment and the chlorinator is run through the winter, turn the CHLORINE PRODUCTION down to 10 - 20%.
I do not have that piece. Should I turn off my SWG from 30% to 0%?

Boost Press and hold the POOL TEMP -BOOST- button D for 10 seconds to enter the Boost mode (Note ‘bo’ will flash intermittently).

Boost can be used to set chlorine production to maximum (100%) for 24 hours of operation.

After 24 hours of chlorinator run time, chlorine production will return to previous setting.

To clear the Boost mode, press and hold the POOL TEMP -BOOST- button D again for 10 seconds.

Okay. I should still do this even though I am adding liquid chlorine? Should I turn off my SWG though iAqualink? It is currently set to 30%.

So, the Lo only applies to the temperature and not to Flow.

It says Flow because the flow is good.

If the Flow LED is green, then the flow is good.
Does the gauge kicking down from 5-10 on the filter cartridge not matter? The flo light is green.

If the display says "Flow" and the Flow LED is green, then you have enough flow.

Turn off chlorine production until the water is at 60 degrees.

The gauge can show zero pressure with lower flow rates, but you still have flow, which you can verify by looking in the skimmer and feeling the returns.

I am confirming I turned off SWG from 30% to 0%. Another post of yours said 10%-20%. Yes, there is action in the skimmer and debris is getting into the pump. When do you typically recommend setting the SWG to 0%? The pool temperature has been below 55' for a few weeks.

Hi all, I increased pump RPMs to 2250 and the filter gauge still has 0 as the psi. The control panel says 30% flow. What should I do to get the filter psi on? I am also having some issues priming the pump.

Do you get a PSI if you n crease the pump speed to 80%?

Do you have good flow out if the returns?

Flow led button is green and skimmer does get debris and can become full if not cleaned. When I put the RPMs at 80% or higher there is PSI readings of 10.

Does your PSI gauge read 0 when the pump is off?

I think you are fine if PSI reads at higher pump speeds. With a big filter and lower speeds PSI is too low to show on the gauge.
