Finally caved and I’m using skimmer basket socks to catch the oak tree droppings. Is there a similar sock that can go in my Jandy pump basket? There’s still plenty of oak droppings that make it to the pump and get through the basket and clog the impeller.

I would suggest disposable hairnets in the skimmer(s). Just throw them out and replace with a new one. I wouldn't have anything in the pump basket.

I would not use a hairnet in the pump basket. Bad things happen if something gets into the impeller. Also, not sure how you would handle the inlet into the basket.

The hairnet in the skimmer basket is very fine. Hard to believe much gets past it but dust.

+1. You have multiple skimmers/ drains, and the pump has their combined suction. I'd kinda be surprised if it *didn't* shred the sock.

I think stuff is getting to the basket by way of the bottom drains, not the skimmer.
I wasn’t sure if there was specifically made for the pump basket. Not just a hair net

Rarely do the bottom drains actually get anything into them. Especially anything beyond dust. With the new VGBA drains, there just is not any real suction there anymore.

Except for those of us with in-floor cleaning systems. We still depend on the drains and for that we have a LeafVac with it's own main drain basket. It works wonders for us. But again, we have in-floor cleaning. I've thought long and hard about whether I would like to have a non in-floor pool, but nah. I really feel that it's so dependable that I would do it again. But I know, kind of off-topic.
