I have what appears to be a FibroPool 3-way valve (with Pentair actuator) that is leaking under high pressure. I think it's this one: 3 Way POSI-Close Valve. See attached pic.

It only leaks noticeably in Spa mode; it doesn't leak in Pool mode, which is why it seems like it's pressure-induced. I assume a gasket has failed. I only noticed this because central Texas is experiencing a freeze, and I noticed a large icicle descending from the valve. I also notice some air coming from the spa jets, which I assume is related.

Anyone have experience with these valves? Do they make a repair kit? I've reached out to FibroPool but I don't expect much.

If it needs to be replaced, what is a reliable alternative?

Thank you for the reply and the link to the parts list! I will let the weather warm up and see if it "helps." Good suggestion. I'll see what FibroPool says, but I wonder if one of the many Jandy/Pentair o-ring replacement sets on Amazon would work. It's cheap enough, I may as well try I guess. I may also order another valve and just swap the innards.

I have seen said that the O-rings are standard across actuators but don’t know for certain.

Let us know what you figure out.

Welcome to TFP.

The valve probably just needs new O rings.

O rings shrink in the cold and leak. That is how we lost the Challenger Space Shuttle.

The leak may seal itself when the weather warms up.

I’m impressed with the shuttle reference… and now I’m sad. Lol. After that reference, I don’t think hoping they reseal is an option as we will are all thinking explosion.

I have a couple of these and I have used replacement rings and they work.
