Fiberglass pool split or crack during install

I should have sent an update. The pool manufacturer put it in writing that they would still honor their warranty. They had the pool builder repair it with a specific type of glue (can't remember the name). It's not ideal but I suppose it's now out of sight, out of mind. Hasn't been an issue so far....hope it stays that way.

M,

So sorry to hear your having this problem... When things go wrong it's critical to know what your rights and responsibilities are relative to your contract. What are the installer's responsibilities? If there's wording that says something like "installed in accordance with manufacturer's requirements" you should get them and see if he's followed them. This can be a very emotional time but this is the time to put emotions aside and read your installation contract to see your rights/responsibilities. Then figure out your options then make a sound decision.

I hope this helps.

Chris
