Fiber Clear Addition

I just added 3 scoops of "Fiber Clear" to my skimmer and nothing has happened... no change in filter pressure... do I keep adding until I see a change in my PSI? The bag was opened in my garage (from prior home owners) - is it possible it could be bad/too old?

May I ask why you are adding fiber clear to your sand filter?
Is there a problem with your water clarity?

With DE you are supposed to add it until you see a 1psi rise, I would think the same might be true for the fiber, although it does behave a little differently.

Yes... doing SLAM and thought it may help speed the process a bit

I see. Well I would just keep an eye on your pressure rise at this point and see if the water clarity is improving. I don't think you want to add too much of that stuff as I think it kind of expands once in the water.

When is the last time you Deep Cleaned your Sand Filter?

I personally never have, as we have only had the pool 1 season, but that will be on my agenda for next season....
