Feedback on first test results

Hi everyone, new pool owner here, would love some feedback on fine tuning my water.

Here are my test results:

FC 4.5
CC 0
TC 4.5
CH 200
TA 80
CYA 60
PH 7.8
Salt 3,600

To date I have only put into the pool granular stabilizer (about 1,800 grams) and about 47 oz of muriatic acid, this was done over the last two weeks or so.

Any feedback is very much appreciated! Now I just wish the weather would improve for this weekend.

Good Job! Good kit and great chemistry readings.

Be sure that the FC you show is your minimum. The best time to test is in the morning just before your SWCG starts for the day. That should be your minimum FC within a 24 hour period.

Do you think I need to bump up the CYA and CH a little though?

CH is of no issue on the low side as you have a fiberglass pool. I only wish I had that CH! My fill water is 250 CH!

For your location your CYA is fine. Next year you might start it at 70 or 80 and it will drift down during summer. But we are now late enough in the summer (you are in Canada - summer lasts what, a week!!) that you should be good were you are.

Ha! We visit Pembroke, Ontario most summers. It never feels like our summer. I always have to have a sweatshirt nearby.

Been there once in winter, never again ..........

Your numbers look awesome to me !!!!! ... Just keep your FC above minimum and you can't go wrong. I feel your pain with the summer joke ... LOL ... I live pretty close, Buffalo, and I think we get 2wks of summer to your 1 ... LOL!!! Us northerners have to value what little time we have. (P.S. I just ordered my new winter cover ).
