FC has stayed at 15 PPM for the last 2 weeks...water is 44-45 degrees.

Do some of you guys with really cold pool water that keep it "open" go 3-4 weeks and still maintain FC above CYA to FC target ratio?

I am going on over month now without adding any FC. I stopped my SWG because I wanted the FC to drop low enough for an AA treatment but it is taking quite a bit of time to drop even though the pool water is in the 50s.

Yeah, I installed my SWCG on 10/22 so I barely got to use it before water dropped to the mid/upper 50s. We have had very little sun with repeated overcast days and a good amount of rain the last 3-4 weeks...it's my first full year with a pool so I'm trying to gauge what I should expect. My PH has stayed very close to 7.4 for the last month with nothing but about a quart of acid once 2-3 weeks ago and I only dumped that because the jug had been open for awhile and I hadn't added any for 2 weeks prior to that.

I'm glad it's this stable just curious
