FC/CYA ratio at higher levels of CYA

A week ago, I payed $51 for 25 lb on Amazon with free Prime shipping. Then looked and vendor was Duda. Just checked today, no longer listed.

I did exactly the same for the "other half" of my boric acid.

Ok, I think the boric acid is supposed to arrive tomorrow or wednesday. Somehow my borate test strips became ant infested, ugh. So just threw those out.

Ordered all the stuff for the manitol borate tests. I am going to assume that I have around 30ppm of borates so will add about 20lbs of boric acid until I get all the supplies for testing.

Going to try to drop my TA to 70 before I add the boric acid. That should be perfect to keep my CSI just in line.

Alrighty. Got my TA down. Dropped in about a half bag of the Boric Acid. Will do a test tomorrow. Funny how I am down to 16ppm borates after just a year. I wish my CH would go down that much.
