Not sure if this is unique to all Jandy sensors but mine has been operating for 4 days. The salt was fully mixed for 24 hrs prior to starting the SWCG. My salt test using Taylor drop method is 3000ppm. Did that twice. Initially the Jandy sensor read 3200 so that was within margin of error. Then yesterday it read 3500ppm and now this evening it has read 3100ppm.

It is common for the salt reading to jump around even though no salt or liquid chlorine has been added since starting the SWCG?

I would not worry about it. Those readings are within the margin of error and around what you expect. There may have been some slugs of highs alt water floating around that has not dispersed.
