How about this...would you concider a 60a panel? If so, you could get away with #6 wire which would be significantly less expensive. Also, I would stick with copper wire. Aluminum, requires different connectors and anual tightening is recomended.

As a matter of fact, today at work I had to provide temp (for 1 year) power for a contruction trailer outside of my place of work. I ran #6 to a 60a panel in the trailer. They plan to run a full fleged operation for 1 year...heat, ac, lights, receptacles for fax, computer, copier etc. Thought of this thread while working lol.
