Last year, at the start of my pool season, everything started up great. Then one day, I left the cover of my V-Green user interface open and it got rained on. Shortly after that I could no longer program the motor but I still had a functional override button. I was able to operate my pump at 1100 rpm all season long by using override on the motor with my mechanical timer. I really didn’t want to buy a new motor after only 2 years so I used it that way all season long.
Fast forward to April 2025 and upon opening my pool I discovered that all of the buttons miraculously worked and my old original schedule was still set. Talk about happy! I do suspect though that because there was probably water in there at one time that at some point it will start acting up again but I’m going to cross my fingers and hope for the best. It’s too bad that Century doesn’t make that model anymore (except EVO) because I really like that motor. I thought I would share my experience in case someone has a similar problem.
