Easytouch freeze mode with pool and spa

Do you put freeze protection on both pool and spa mode? Or just pool mode? I've seen threads where people say the actuators will rotate between pool and spa, but it's not clear if both have freeze mode on.

For the system to cycle to spa during freeze, you must select the SPA with Freeze On.
