Easytouch and intellibrites

Hello, I searched on here for this issue and saw others had the same issue but didnt get any fixes to it. I have an easytouch8 which has a relay with a pool intellibrite light on it as well as a spa intellibrite light on its own separate relay. I have tried everything and cant seem to be able to lets say set the pool intellibrite blue and the spa green. I have made sure the circuit functions are both for intellibrites. Have also made sure the light positions under the light config menu are 1 and 2 and not the same for both. Im able to control them separately as the app does show both lights on it. Its just a matter of not being able to set them different colors

O,

I am not sure why that would be..

Just to be clear.. Each light has it's own Aux relay and transformer.

When you turn on the pool light, does the spa light also come on?

When you set the Pool light for say "green", what happens when you try to set the Spa light??

Thanks,

Jim R.

Hi Jim, yes, each light has its own transformer and aux relay. And no, when you turn on the pool light, the spa light doesnt turn on unless you specifically turn on the spa light. Same the other way around. If you turn on the spa light, the pool light wont turn on unless you turn the pool light on. Although, if I turn everything off and turn on the spa light and then change the color, BOTH the spa and pool relays will kick on and start cycling through to get to the color that I selected. I think it might be an app programming issue that doesnt let you select the preset colors for individual lights. Im also unclear why theres a "Color lights" and "intellbrite" section on the lighting tab of the app as well as what "Set" is used for. Maybe thats where my problem is.

O,

I don't have color lights as their lifespan appears to be about 12 nano-seconds.

Let's see if we can get an EasyTouch owner that has color lights to chime in..

Just for grins, I tied to use ScreenLogic to change the color of my lights. I did notice, just like you, that if I select just one light, that the system will turn them both on and pulse them both. So, obviously missing a step somewhere.

Let me see if I can find us some help.. Calling @gary300. Tell us the trick to setting up different colors on different lights.

Thanks,

Jim R.

I found somewhat of a workaround. If I use the screenlogic config app to keep the pool lights on the intellibrite circuit function and change the spa light to a generic light function. I can control the pool ones colors without it affecting the spa one. If I want to change the spa color and not the pools, I just do the opposite, (make the spa lights circuit function "intellibrite" and change the pool one to a generic one). Lets see what @gary300 says.
