Ducks

So two madly in love ducks decided to make my pool their place. I keep chasing them away but they keep coming back. On top on that I thought all of a sudden I am having some type of yellow mustard algae outbreak so I immediately started to slam even though my FC has been maintained. The very next morning more stuff appearing at the bottom. A little here. A little there. How can this be? Then I realized maybe it’s duck poop from them. It looks pretty close to a yellow brownish color. Thoughts on how to keep them away? Should I keep slamming? Can I just brush it or should I vacuum?

I sprayed mine with a direct hit of water from the hose, nozzle set to "jet". That made them relocate.
