Dreaded Floating pool liner

Just found this great site and looking forward to learning from a group of I am sure knowledgeable pool owners.

My details...live in Twin Cities Minnesota (feel free to pile on why Minnesotans build pools with short season ;))
Very clay type soil

Though did due diligence with sump system in our vinyl pool system
Pool deck large area pavers
First couple seasons no issues - then in 2016 large rain and liner floated. Drained pool and reset liner....floated several times this last summer

I saw floatingliner.com website with NuFlo system to solve floating liners. Do they work and anyone know if dealers in Minnesota?

Is there a way I can have liner removed (due to stretching needs replacement anyway)...bottom of pool dug up, and some sort of french drain or other system that diverts ground water away from pool? Would prefer NOT to destroy pavers if possible

Super frustrating.....I was naive and thought having the sump pump would magically take care of things. Used pool contractor that several neighbors used and they have been worthless - just installed and then you're on your own when issues like this arose

Thanks so much for help!

I've seen a few posts from people in high water table areas that have systems similar to that installed. I don't believe they have a channel drain like that right next to the pool shell but just the sump pit to collect and drain the water. With pavers it would be much easier to have additional pits installed because the pavers can be removed and replaced.

Could you describe your sump system or possibly have a pic of it? Did they tile all the way around the pool? Is the pump located at the lowest point?
