Hello again!

So I have another question. The drain plug is a 1.5" cap that screws into the filter. It has a slot . Here's a pic Pentair Clean & Clear Filter Drain Plug 86202000
With my last filter I could connect a garden hose to the bottom in case I needed to drain excess water from pool. Do you guys have suggestions on what I can use to get a garden hose attached to the CC150?

I was thinking this https://www.amazon.com/Garden-Hose-...lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=AH39Y8LK920ZL
Am I on the right track?

Show us pictures of your equipment pad from several angles. Many systems have a hose bib plumbed between the pump and the filter.

Hey there! No, no bib that I can see, just a straight pipe from pump into the filter. I just replaced the filter. Used to be a Hayward filter, now Pentair. The Hayward had a convenient 3/4 hookup for drain. The Pentair is a bigger 1.5 drain outlet.

I'm not sure I understand. I was looking for some kind of way to connect my garden hose to the Pentair filter drain plug. There's a big difference in size. What you sent was a cap that screws onto the end of the garden hose.
