I didn't post everything as all I did was the chlorine test! What else should I check before slam? My pH was a shade between 7.5 and 7.8.

You need to adjust pH down slightly with some muriatic acid. Lower to 7.2-7.4.
Then, test your CYA. Ideally, you want it at 30. No lower. If it's higher than 30, then let us know.

Today's TC is 0.5, pH a tad lighter than 7.8. Cya test was completely clear so I assume 0?? What should be my first course of action? Also we are having a party tomorrow. I know chlorine is needed but is it ok to swim in? Also, it is raining today so not sure if that makes a difference for anything.
