After many years of loyal service my Doughboy Silica 2 Sand filter has started to leak right around the spider gasket. I really would like to repair this filter and possibly rebuild the valve assembly. My problem is I can not find parts for this filter anywhere. Does anyone know of a supplier who sells parts for this filter? I have found an after market company called SSC (poolgasket.com) but they are very limited on what they sell. Could some please help me get in the right direction? Thank You.

You need an 1121-1644-2 Complete Rebuild Kit from Doughboy if you can't find a gasket. They changed the design of the rotor and cap, so Doughboy doesn't sell the old gasket anymore.
Patriot Supply appears to have just the gasket made by SSC as you said. Their number is G-5171.
Poolgasket also has it, but they don't show you the price unless you log in.
If the top hat is in good shape it may be worth trying the rotor gasket.
