Just bought this one - $1000 with tax. I used to have much cheaper ones and finally took the plunge to buy something better. Tried it out today and I am very disappointed. My cheap ones cleaned better. The propeller creates such a "draft" in the water that leaves on the ground kick up and then land somewhere else. By the time the unit is done, 50% of pool leaves still around.

Any recommendations of robots you are very happy with? 1000-1250 budget.

Are you sure it's the dolphin triton PS? Not sure what you mean by "propeller" as mine doesn't have one. It does have a discharge chute on the top of the unit and looks like this.
