I feel like i shouldn't pull it up by the cord but i can't think of an easier more obvious way to get it out of the pool once its done cleaning. What do others do?
The user manual says to pull it up by the cord and the Dolphin website videos show that.
I very gently pull mine up by the cord until just before the grey handle gets to the surface. Then I reach in and grab the cleaner by the handle with one hand and the back of the unit with the other. I lift it out with a very slight tilt such that the handle is higher than the back of the unit and I allow the water in it to drain out that way. Then, when light enough, I just pull it out of the pool. I usually get some drag out loss of water but it's not a whole lot.
You could always dive in but it's less convenient. [emoji4]
Yeah, just don't try to lift the water filled bugger out of the water by the cord (to the waterline is the approach). I could foresee a repair bill after doing that for a while.
