Just received my Dolphin Premier robot and eager to get running with it. But two big immediate questions.
1) The booklet says "don not use an extension cable in any case whatsoever." -- but my nearest outlet is 25' for the pool and the robot cord is 60' so this in not going to reach the far side of the pool..... do most people really have electrical outlets at poolside? Is this just a dealbreaker?
2) The booklet also says not to use the robot with Chlorine levels over 4ppm. But I've kind of gotten used to maintaining higher levels of chlorine in the 5-10 range (SWG pool) since getting schooled here at TFP...and my CYA is up around 80 right now, so I'd need to wrestle that down to "not recommended' levels at 50 CYA to keep chlorine so low.
Any practical advice on these two items?
