Have Doughboy 41x21 with 6ft deep end. Its sunk approx halfway. Borrowed my neighbors Nautilus and tried it out...seems to work well. Website says inground pool... any reason not to purchase one for my pool... ??

Not saying it will work for you, but I had an aboveground pool before I had the inground pool installed. My first and only robot cleaner was the Nautilus CC Plus that I bought for the aboveground and now use in my new pool. It worked equally well in both.
I imagine you'd want the IG robot for coverage alone. You have a monster of an above ground pool compared to the typical 18 to 24 ft round ones.
