Dolphin M500 stored for 5 years, service needed?

We moved and didn't have a pool in new home. We are buying a new home with a fiberglass pool. My Dolphin was in service for 4 years prior to storage.
Should I take it to local pool shop off season for an overhaul or should I be good to go without servicing?

No reason to just not try it when the time comes. It’s kinda near the end of its average lifespan so taking it apart may cause more harm than leaving it alone unless there’s parts missing?

Average life of robots seems to be about 5-7 years. If it was working before, there’s a decent chance it’s still working. My robot was the only thing I ever bought with an extended warranty, and so far it’s lasted about as long as that warranty will cover.

Since it’s been unused for a while, taking it to a local pool shop could help catch any issues, and make sure it’s good to go. Worst case, you might just need to invest in a new pool cleaner.
