Dolphin Echo Cable Replacement

After 3 years of use, my Dolphin Echo stopped working while submerged. The rubber exterior cable is in rough shape, especially right where the cable intersects the cleaner's orange plastic cover (very likely the culprit). Going through 3 years of constantly untangling the 50' cable, I'm hoping there is a compatible swivel model on the market but can't seem to find any. Does anyone have any experience or luck with this? Just checking before I buy another OEM and restart my battle against knotted cables.

T,

I have had several Dolphin robots and the cables are all the same, except for length and the number of pins (2 or 3).

I assume you cannot control the Echo with an app or remote, so any 2 pin cable, the length you need, and with a swivel will work just fine.

As an example; a cable from a Dolphin S200 or similar robot.

That said, the cable is most likely not your problem. Cables do not go bad often.

And... the swivel is almost useless and will not solve your tangle issue.

3 years is about the life of the motor box..

Thanks,

Thanks! May be time to just start shopping for a new one. Appreciate the input. If I were to buy a new one, I'll look at cordless. Untangling every day gets old!
